Limit number of hours employees may work based on time frame.
At University establishments, student workers are limited in the number of hours they can work weekly. Adding a "maximum hours" field that is related to a time frame field (per day/week/month) would be helpful. This limit of hours would be useful in querying shift swaps/offers and ensuring they do not go over their limits.

It would be awesome to setup a "fence" for labor per employee and the whole department. So we could set a category (PT/FT/ Workstudy/Volunteer/etc) and then define a maximum hours cap for that category.
Then if an individual breaks that cap (through shift swap or manager oops) there is an alert sent immediately to managers.
For the department, setting a Team cap would be great for the same reasons, total gross labor hours can be set per team to trigger a flag if x > Y.
It would be helpfull, to add a field to the team-member with the weekly working time.
If you assign the member to different groups, the weekly working time will be decreased. When it become negative, it will be shown as extra hours.

Many Organization will not use StaffHub if the platform is not aligned with legal requirements, ex:
- Max/min number of hours per day/week
- Max number of vacation days
- Max number of maternity leave hours/days
This would be very useful. We are using StaffHub as a support-plan in our IT-Department. Every employee's shift should be limited to x hours a month/week.

We would be interested in this for staff to, so we didn't breach contracted limits. Related to this it would also be useful if a minimum gap was configurable between shifts. Ben
This is true especially for international students who are limited to 20h a week at my institution.
Setting a minimum per user, or maximum per user (or user group) would be useful in automating shift denial for someone requsting over the maximum hours.
