Incorporating Presence with Time Clock
For desktop users, I'd like to see presence awareness tied to the time clock. Just logging in to their desktop computer at the start of the day could result in a clock-in. Similarly, stepping away from the computer for a specified amount of time can result in an automatic clock-out.
The total of on-computer presence could be tallied and added as a manager accessible note for each shift. Since presence is already a part of Microsoft Teams, and there is some cross-over in StaffHub function, I think it would make a ton of sense to incorporate the time clock function right into Teams, and access the scheduling and messaging function through a left column nav item..
We also have people who work remotely, and tracking presence can give their remote manager a heads up for potential unscheduled away time, so that a staff member can be counseled to better use their time, or to determine if they don't have enough personal-discipline to work remotely, since it is not for everyone.
