Just wanted to give an update here. We are excited to start rolling out the ability to view, create, and act on requests on the web application over the course of the next month. We will let you know any updates and when the feature is available for everyone.
Thank you for your continued support and patience.
Managers often work from a desktop, not out in the field so to have to make the schedule on the desktop but not be able to approve requests for swapping shifts etc from the desktop doe **** make sense. All admin type features should be available on the desktop. It makes managing the schedule very hard when you have missed a request for swapping on your phone and you cannot even see on the desktop that an employee is trying to swap a shift or givr a shift away.
We have several staff who are older and do not have a mobile device. From what I see if a staff does not have a mobile device they cannot swap shifts, request time off or see to do items. Also, a manager cannot approve shifts if they do not have a mobile device. Am I missing where these functions are available on the desktop app?
The staff are not in alphabetical order and impossible to find who you are looking for. Can we have the ability to change the order or even filter to the staff we are looking for. This is the only way we can currently see if someone is double booked in more than one group.
I am trying to create a schedule and using copy and paste to save time. I cannot use the drop down on shifts previously created because it does not carry over the shift notes which I need. VERY often, copy and past will not get the times right. My overnight shifts (8pm to 8am the next day) will get switched to 8am - 8pm. It is extremely frustrating and could be eliminated by the ability to define shifts with times, colours, custom label, activities/beaks and shift notes that could be used by all managers to create the schedule and then we have consistency and reduce errors in the schedule.
I am surprised that this has been requested by so many but not put forward for consideration yet.
I know you can select from some shifts that you have created recently but it is inconsistent and sometimes if I need to modify a shift for a special reason but it is still called the same thing then it is what is shown in the drop down. There is a need to create static pre-defined shifts that all managers can use to create the schedule.
Yes please! The fact that you cannot save shift types with the name is very inconvenient. I know I can go in and search for a shift I've put in before but if I go to add an additional shift I cannot pull out shifts that I've created in the past and I have to create each shift from scratch. To be able to create a database or a list of all of the shift that you use in your organization and have them saved with their settings so you just pull from that list would be fantastic
Yes please. This make the schedule in month view more manageable. Shade weekend a different colour please!! The ability to shade a holiday a different color as well for alert schedulers that the needs for that day will change.
I am pulling my hair out because the date ranges do not match our payroll (biweekly) and I have to keep going back and forth and counting how many hours each employee has and making sure I have followed the proper rotation for the pay period. I keep getting it mixed up. All would be solved if I could look at the schedule how I want, a 2 week period that matches our payroll ans the rotation. I would imagine this would be the same for many organizations.
Please consider adding this asap.
We would like the ability to see the schedule according to our repeating rotation as well as our payroll. Contracts guarantee a certain number of hour per pay period. We now have to calculate by hand since the screen view which shows a total hours under the name does not match our schedule period. We want to move from our current program so everything is connected to Office 365 but this is one of the items holding us back.
A staff member can create a new team. This should be only available to staff with admin privileges.
This feature is essential. If you have groups that have repeating schedules but do not follow the same pattern (one group repeats every 4 weeks, another group every 6 weeks, one group every 12 weeks) you cannot use the copy schedule. It is VERY time consuming to go back and forth and copy and past manually for all the different groups.
Please consider this. As I am working in the month view it is extremely time consuming to constant;y have to open the shift to see the details.
Yes pls!!!!! In month view, hover over shows to shoe all details of shift. It is very time consuming to open each shift, especially when you can just double click on a shift to open it.
Please, please. It seems like it should have been part of the package when you added the ability to scroll back and forth without returning to the top. That whole menu that shows the different views and date range should remain showing at the top when you scroll down please!!!! It is so hard and frustrating when you are working in a large schedule.
Just wanted to give an update here. We are starting rolling out this feature over the course of the next month. We will let you know any updates and when the feature is available for everyone.
Working in the desktop I cannot see who approved a request. This should be available just as it is in the mobile app please!!
Not all staff have a cell phone and only view schedule through the desktop
Not everyone has a cell phone!
To add to this, when several managers are working on a schedule, I would like to be able to see the history of a shift/cell changes and who changed it. If I have questions, I can go to that manager.
We have people who apply for position in different program areas. We should be able to MOVE the person to their new group instead of deleting them and then re-creating them in the new group
